Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA)

Through the months of June and July, we welcome a whole new age bracket to our campus — rising 1st through 5th graders.
Our Summer Enrichment Academy, affectionally referred to as SEA, ensures we stay connected with our alumni and has helped us to make even deeper connections with our families.
This program is offered to our alumni and staff children, as space permits. We break our camp into two age-determined cohorts:SEA Jr.” for rising 1st and 2nd graders, and SEA in the MP” for rising 3rd – 5th graders.
SEA Jr.” maintains a more traditional classroom schedule and allows our most recent graduates a chance to connect with children outside of their class. It also offers an opportunity for recently graduated alumni students to reconnect with their kindergarten teachers after a year apart. “SEA Jr’s” focus is on teambuilding, community, and ensuring our campers don’t fall victim to summer learning loss.
For our older cohort,SEA in the MP,” we have created a custom project-based curriculum. To ensure a meaningful summer experience, campers choose long-term projects—both as individuals and in group settings—that are designed to teach new skills and encourage budding interests. Getting to work with these students long after they officially graduate has reinforced our belief in our teaching methods. We have found that our returning Rollins alumni maintain their skills as community-minded problem-solvers—even well into middle school!
